About the job: 

The Store HR Business Partner is responsible for driving the People agenda with the long-term ambition that Al-Futtaim IKEA should be appreciated and recommended as a great place to work. You will implement, support and follow up on strategies, processes and tools in the HR area. Main focus areas are culture & values, attract & recruit, develop competence, engage, retain, workplace & organisation and leading in the IKEA way.

The Store HRBP furthermore plays a key role in the organisation and works in partnership with all Managers to provide both expertise and support. You participate in the operational and strategic development of the Store and support activities for growth and increased profitability within the business unit.

This position is located in Dubai and reports directly to the Store Manager. You will have one L&D Specialist and HR Administrator reporting to you.

Your assignment: 

Core

Translate the Regional Business Plan into a localized Store Business Plan from a People perspective

Act as a strategic partner within the Store in advising, coaching & mentoring management and the HR team on people related issues

Support best fit organizational Store structures to meet customer centric expectations of our customers, co-workers & partners

Support operational efficiency through effective resources usage, capacity and ways of working

Have an understanding of the business, in particular the sources of profit and the cost base to support with the implementation of HR strategies and practices

Develop best practice to ensure ongoing development of HR services delivered

Attract

Work with the Group’s Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence to secure talent flow in terms of people resources by attracting talents and securing succession inside and cross business units

Engage

Manage the “Growing Together” engagement survey for the Store ensuring all impact plans have been submitted and implemented in the Store

Reward top performers with the tools and policies provided by Group HR

Manage Employee Relations issues within the Store, supporting line managers to create a culture of employee engagement based upon Al-Futtaim & IKEA values

Develop

Provide input into the Business Learning Needs Analysis for the Store to support the accomplishments of KPIs

Create pre-conditions from a people perspective to reach job maturity in a cross-functional collaboration through enabling an end-to-end approach and a constant learning organisation

Play an integral role in the annual Talent Review process, challenging and providing input to their line managers decisions

Provide coaching to Store Management team members in their leadership

Lead, coach and develop the HR team members

Retain

Integrate Al-Futtaim & IKEA Values in the way of working and link this to motivating recognition programme

Secure efficient implementation of overall HR policies and yearly activities

Translate the Nationalisation plan for the organisation and develop it into an action plan for the business

Enablers

Conduct the annual manpower and budgeting exercise accurately and efficiently

Create, obtain approval for and manage the HR department budget
