Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Removing dirty tableware from dining tables and taking them to the kitchen to be washed.
  2. Serving complimentary snacks to patrons upon their arrival.
  3. Assisting patrons in locating suitable dining tables.
  4. Setting tables with clean linen, napkins, and tableware as well as condiments.
  5. Ensuring that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and condiments.
  6. Assisting the wait staff in delivering meal items to patrons as needed.
  7. Assisting the wait staff in processing patrons’ payments.
  8. Performing clean-up duties, which includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as well as polishing counters and fixtures.
  9. Answering patrons’ questions regarding meal ingredients and preparation.
  10. Notifying the manager of low or depleted restaurant supplies.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience working in the food service industry.
  2. Sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
  3. The ability to stand for extended periods.
